Carpal Tunnel Syndrome adalah neuropati yang paling umum dijumpai, diperkirakan 90% dari total kasus neuropati yang ada adalah Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) (4). Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) seringkali dipersepsikan sebagai keluhan ringan berupa kesemutan atau nyeri pada tangan. Namun, secara terminologis dan patofisiologis, CTS merupakan suatu entitas klinis yang kompleks dengan dasar neuroanatomi yang jelas dan dampak fungsional yang signifikan. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome didefinisikan bagai suatu neuropati akibat kompresi nervus medianus ketika saraf tersebut melewati canalis carpi di pergelangan tangan.
